Health Inspiration- Juicing

Have you tried juicing? You may think it’s just an overhyped fad, but have you thought about how it could improve your life? Have you researched the health benefits?

So there are juicing machines… and then machines like nutri-bullets. What’s the difference?

The difference between juicing and using something like a nutri-bullet is that you get a lot more nutrients in one single glass.

A juicing machine extracts the juice from the pulp, separating that pulp into a bin and releasing the juice into your cup. Without the pulp, you are able to drink much more nutrients than you would ever be able to eat in one sitting! The pulp is pure fiber- it makes you full. You can save the pulp and use it in your cooking to reduce waste. (I use mine in muffins)
Nutri-bullets and other blenders blend the pulp and juice together- smoothies!

I’m not saying one is better or worse. Adding more fruits & veggies to your diet at all is an amazing way to give your body a good clean energy drink.

I’d like to note- juicing is an excellent way to maintain a healthy lifestyle, not just a quick fix to lose weight.
